Christine Miller: Making Amazing Experiences is Her Calling
By Jeff Bollig
Nothing brings Christine Miller more satisfaction than hearing from one of her clients that their travel experience exceeded their expectations.
A 25-year veteran of the travel industry, Miller is keenly aware that a vacation is an investment in time, energy and money. Therefore, she leaves no detail unattended in managing that investment, ensuring there is a high return for the traveler.
“I take a great deal of pride in listening to my clients and helping them articulate what they want,” Miller says. “The process can be stressful for them. I want to remove that stress so that they can enjoy their time away with no worries.”
Miller’s love of travel is combined with an extensive background featuring a wide array of positions in the travel industry - flight attendant, concierge, advisor. That diversity is helpful as Miller takes a unique perspective in building a travel itinerary. She puts herself in the position of the traveler and develops a plan that begins the moment they leave their home and does not end until they return.
“So much has changed in travel,” Miller says. “We used to just book trips. Today we create experiences that meet the unique needs of each traveler. That is where I use my experience to build a vacation that leaves the traveler feeling amazed.”
Says Acendas customer Gary Cunningham regarding his travel earlier this year, “It was truly a great experience. Thank you for planning such a wonderful vacation for us. Christine was really easy to work with and got us just what we need for a wonderful, hassle free and relaxing vacation.”
With a family lineage that goes back generations to Norway, it stands the reason that Miller is a fan of Scandinavia. She regularly arranges escorted and independent travel itineraries throughout Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. Miller is also a Hurtigruten Cruise Specialist and has additional experience in vacation planning that includes: ocean cruising, Caribbean, Mexico, escorted and independent travel to Europe, and travel within the United States and Canada.
